HANGAR G WELCOMES CAVU

Hangar G received both a face lift and a new tenant this summer with the addition of CAVU Aero Service.  Along with providing aircraft service, CAVU will offer 100 hr Annual Inspections, major and minor repairs and tire and break services.  Shop operations begin August 1.  Follow Cavu's progress on Facebook @CavuAeroService or online at CavuAeroService.com.

D-DAY DOLL 75TH BIRTHDAY

The Commemorative Air Force Inland Empire Wing will host a Birthday Bash Fundraiser for the D-Day Doll Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. in C.A.F.'s hangar.  The festive event will include museum tours, food, a car cruise, photo ops and rides in the famous warbird.

Event proceeds will benefit the Tunison Foundation which has committed to financially supporting the Duxford-Normandy leg of the June 6, 2019 D-Day Anniversary event in which the CAF D-Day Wing will join 15 other historical military transport aircraft from the U.S. deploying to Duxford Airfield in England.  To follow the foundation's efforts visit inlandempirecaf.com.  

CAPITAL JET MANAGEMENT

The Riverside Municipal Airport welcomes Capital Jet Management as the newest tenant in the Terminal Building.

Capital Jet Management, provides aircraft management and jet charter services to clients within the United States.  The management company was founded by three industry veterans with the goal of making aircraft management simple.  Through an à la carte approach to aircraft management, pilots, as well as flight departments,  are able to offload as much or as little of their aircraft management needs to Capital Jet.   The agency manages a fleet of aircraft primarily based in Southern California, with offices at Santa Ana, Newport Beach, and now Riverside.  

Capital Jet Management operates under FAA Air Carrier Certificate Number 5GCA573N.

MEET NELSON CONTRERAS

Riverside Airport welcomed Airport Operations Specialist Nelson Contreras to the team in late June 2018.  Nelson is an alumni of Mt. San Antonio College where he studied aviation. With four years of experience in airport operations at Brackett Airport and a private pilot's license, Nelson is a great asset to the airfield.  In addition to expanding his airport operations experience with Riverside Airport, Nelson is pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management.
